CMV Truck & Bus customers had the opportunity to be among the first to get behind the wheel of the all-new UD Condor at our recent Customer Drive Events, experiencing Condor’s refined performance, active safety and enhanced driver comfort firsthand.

Held at our Derrimut and Dandenong dealerships, the exclusive events brought together customers from across Victoria, along with UD Trucks Australia representatives and our expert sales teams, for an afternoon showcasing the impressive new Condor - ready to tackle any job.
Upon arrival, customers were greeted by our friendly team and enjoyed light refreshments including our famous barista made coffee while discussing the innovative new features of the new vehicle.
Guests had the chance to test drive a range of Condor models, experiencing its smooth Allison automatic transmission, responsive handling and ergonomic cabin design, with many impressed by just how easy and comfortable the Condor was to drive.

Feedback from customer test drives were extremely positive especially around drivability, highlighting that the Condor is a major step forward in the medium-duty sector.
“Felt more like a car to drive, than a truck. The steering was light, it went exactly where I wanted it to go,” stated Dion Alderton from MACH1 Logistics.
Matt Brouwer from the Burdett Group added that the Condor was “smooth, powerful and the visibility was great.”
Another stand out feature amongst customers was the intelligent safety features of the Condor, protecting drivers and businesses. Features included Lane Departure Warning Systems, Advanced Emergency Braking System, Adaptive Driving Beam as well as driver and passenger airbags - plus much more! And for even more peace of mind, every Condor comes with a 6 Year Standard Warranty.
Our team commenced truck walk arounds, pointing out exterior enhancements to customers that are designed to get the job done more efficiently. Enhancements such as an improved grille design for better cooling and heat dissipation, streamlined aerodynamics to boost fuel efficiency and modern headlights that not only look great but improve visibility.
Once customers sat in the ISRI ergonomic seats, they didn’t want to get out! Driver comfort has also been at the forefront when designing the new Condor, with everything within a comfortable reach.
The UD Condor delivers reliable power with smooth handling, and stress-free driving, no matter the load or driving conditions. This is due to the DB6A 6.7L inline six-cylinder turbo-diesel euro 6 engine, paired with a 6-speed fully automatic Allison transmission, available in 3000 Series for 4x2 models and 3500 Series for 6x2 and 6x4 configurations.
Available in 6x4, 6x2 and 4x2 configurations with a range of wheelbase options, the Condor is ready to tackle any job - including waste management, construction, industrial and general freight.
