Volvo BZR Low Entry Electric is a productivity platform for electric buses in city, intercity and commuter applications. Available in two- or three-axle versions with single or dual traction motors.
A Volvo BZR Low Entry Electric is a silent and comfortable experience, for everyone. The bus welcomes your passengers silently and gently at the bus stop. Low onboard noise makes it easier to talk to others or listen to music during the ride.
The chassis can be equipped with up to eight Volvo Cube battery units, each with a capacity of 90 kWh. With up to 720 kWh of installed nominal capacity, the Volvo BZR Electric coach is ready for true long-distance operation. For shorter or less demanding routes, the onboard energy storage can be right-sized to reduce weight.
The fully dynamic instrument cluster allows you to select between two main views depending on what you prefer or want to have in focus.
The Volvo BZR Low Entry Electric is designed to make driving impressively easy, quiet and comfortable. It’s a workstation made to attract, recruit and retain skilled drivers and bring the driver turnover to zero.
The electric Volvo powertrain delivers the power and drivability needed for safe operation in even the most demanding conditions. Available with either a single or dual-motor setup, it offers up to 540 hp / 400 kW.
With Volvo you can combine and change your charging methods. Quick high-power charging on route or in the depot, as well as manually operated depot charging via CCS cable.
