On Friday, October 15, CMV Truck & Bus proudly hosted a very special event for our Volvo Bus customers at the stunning State of Grace rooftop.

With the spectacular Melbourne city skyline as the backdrop, the evening brought together our valued Volvo Bus customers and industry professionals for a night of celebration and appreciation.
 

Guests were invited to join us for an unforgettable evening on the contemporary New York style rooftop terrace, themed for the spring season. 

With close to 100 people in attendance, our guests enjoyed a delicious assortment of canapes and an incredible grazing board while taking in the breathtaking views. 

An acoustic duo, Nathan and Jessica, set the perfect tone for the evening, delighting guests with their lively performance.

This special night highlighted the strong and valued partnerships we have with our Volvo Bus customers and Volvo Bus Australia, and it was wonderful to have the opportunity to celebrate together with an evening full of laughter and great conversation. 

Formalities kicked off with a warm welcome from Ross Greig, CMV Truck & Bus General Manager Western Victoria, who expressed his gratitude to all attendees for joining us. 

Guests also heard from Mitchell Peden, Vice President of Volvo Bus Australia who thanked guests for their continued support. Mitchell also explained Volvo’s longstanding and strong relationship with CMV Truck & Bus, describing our team as an extension of the Volvo family which we were very proud of. 

Mitchell also spoke about the latest advancements in Volvo Bus technology, as well as our shared commitment to sustainable and efficient transport solutions. From smart safety features to innovative designs, Volvo continues to lead the way for the future of bus travel. 

Next guests heard from CMV Truck & Bus Volvo Bus Sales Manager, Anthony Fisicaro, who expressed his gratitude towards customers whose support has been instrumental in the year's success.

Anthony then welcomed up our team of Volvo Bus experts, which included Nick Curran (Service Manager), Josh Sevenson (Workshop Foreman) and Brad Schulz (Account Manager).

Anthony also took the opportunity to express his heartfelt appreciation for the strong working relationship between CMV Truck & Bus and Volvo Bus Australia and the benefits it provides to our customers.

He then invited the Volvo Bus Australia team to join him at the front which included Mark Fryer (Director of Body Build Industry APAC), Tony Lowrey (National Sales Manager), Mike Bludell (National Service Manager), Nick Carnie (Electromobility and Compliance Manager), Sam Compasso (Regional Service Manager) and Kate Totman (Marketing and Communications Manager). 

Celebrations kicked on well into the evening and was a great opportunity for guests to network and mingle, strengthening relationships within the wonderful Victorian bus community. 

The CMV Truck & Bus Volvo Bus Cocktail Event was a perfect blend of gratitude and celebration, marking another successful chapter for our amazing team.
