On Tuesday, March 28, the CMV Truck & Bus Derrimut team hosted their highly anticipated Show and Shine and this year’s event was the biggest and most impressive yet!
The Show and Shine is an annual event held at our Derrimut dealership, and each year the caliber of our team’s show-worthy cars and toys is taken to the next level.
Many of our Derrimut team are motor vehicle enthusiasts and it was fantastic to see such a great turn out! Everyone enjoyed having the opportunity to come together and have some fun.
All of the Show and Shine entries were proudly displayed in their categories and what a sight it was! Our team were given the opportunity to check out the 17 showstopping entries, and vote on their standouts across five categories.
Voting was taken very seriously on the day, as you can imagine! Shortly afterwards the votes were tallied and the worthy winners were announced. Congratulations to all of the amazing entrants and our Show and Shine award winners!

The Show and Shine is always a very popular event with our team and this year we shifted things up a gear - We were excited to have special guests from the Brad Jones Racing team join us!
This high performing team is sponsored by Mack Trucks Australia and were in final preparations ahead of the thrilling 2023 Melbourne SuperSprint at Albert Park.
The drivers brought with them their two Camaro's and our team were able to see these fast cars up close. Plus, everyone had the opportunity to chat to the Brad Jones Racing team about all things motor sport.
While there was so much to see, there was also so much to taste! A number of delicious food trucks were on site for our team to enjoy for lunch. There was the Mamma Van serving up tasty Mexican food, Yo India providing mouthwatering curries and Happy Campers making scrumptious wood-fired pizzas.
Thank you to the organisers who put on another successful Show and Shine and to the entrants who entered their beloved vehicles - we know how much effort you went to, to get those cars and toys gleaming.
