CMV Truck & Bus Albury/Wodonga’s longstanding customers, Mick and Kelly Bodman, owners of Bodman Transport, have been in the transport industry since 2001, and after 22 years of trucking, UD is still their truck of choice for reliability.
Reliability is so important for Mick and Kelly’s business as Bodman Transport’s reputation is built on their ability to provide express delivery, with goods always delivered on time.
“Express is our standard,” Mick Bodman said. “Our customers depend on us with overnight service, so goods can be delivered on time.”
The business’ ability to provide high quality service to their customers is due to a combination of factors including the hard work of Mick and Kelly's team, the ever-reliable fleet of UD Trucks, and the support of the UD dealer network, including CMV Truck & Bus dealerships.
CMV Truck & Bus Albury/Wodonga have partnered with Bodman Transport since its inception, and have supported the business in growing their fleet which now boasts 15 trucks, with three more on order!
“We’ve got a really good relationship with the dealer network,” said Mick. “They understand that we’re a small company and they do everything to appease us.”
With customers relying on Bodman Transport to deliver their goods when they need them, the dependability of UD Trucks is what has ensured the businesses success. Through the years, the tough, durable nature of UD Trucks has only impressed Mick.
“We don’t have spare trucks lying around so we rely on reliability. What we do with our UDs and how they’ve been treated we give them hell and they just keep going. Reliability is the key thing,” explained Mick.
With Mick and Kelly’s trucks travelling close to 10,000km collectively per day, reliability is certainly important and our dealership in Albury/Wodonga has been an essential support for Bodman Transport in maintaining and building their fleet.

The initial decision to purchase a UD Truck was straightforward for Mick, and it came down to UD’s reputation.
“A neighbour of mine had a transport business and had UD Trucks and loved them. I used to help him wash them and I suppose that’s where it started. I knew about their reliability, so as it came time, I don’t really think I thought about it, I just bought a UD,” said Mick.
This decision has not let Mick and Kelly down, with one of their UD Trucks, named ‘Knackers’, nearing 1,000,000km and still going strong. This truck was delivered brand new in 2007 as Mick and Kelly's second truck, travelling around 1000km a day between Albury, Wagga, Canberra and returning to Albury on a 5 day express schedule.
“She’s had a hard life but still going strong,” said Mick.
