At CMV Truck & Bus, we offer an intensive four-year Trailer Technician Apprenticeship program, including theory and on-the-job components, as part of the Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Trailer Technology.
During your apprenticeship you will learn how to diagnose, overhaul, repair, inspect and test a wide range of heavy vehicle trailers ranging from B-Doubles to dangerous goods tankers.
You will also gain experience in all areas of trailer repair and maintenance, including electrical systems like electronic braking and suspension systems.
If you’re interested in a career in the fast-moving automotive industry, and are seeking more than a trade, then this could be the apprenticeship for you!
I found the Apprenticeship Program to be really enjoyable, for someone who did not have a lot of knowledge in engines etc. prior to starting my apprenticeship.
I love to learn, which was easy to do with the trainers that we have onsite.
